This newsletter started from a simple realization.

I enjoy watching women's sports, but I kept missing games and tournaments, not because I wasn't interested, but because I simply didn't know they were happening. Unlike men's sports, where upcoming matches are constantly promoted through news, television, and social media, following women's sports often means searching across multiple websites and league calendars.

I figured I couldn't be the only one.

So I'm building Rally⁴⁹: to make discovering women’s sports simpler. Every month, I’ll bring together the biggest stories, upcoming games, and key moments from across professional women’s leagues, helping you spend less time searching and more time enjoying the sport.

This is a test edition that I'm sharing with friends and family before launching publicly. I'd love your honest feedback.

One of the fastest-growing women’s football leagues globally, Liga MX Femenil continues to attract larger crowds, develop young talent, and produce exciting rivalries. I’ll highlight the key storylines and must-watch fixtures each month.

Canada has entered a new era with the launch of the Northern Super League, its first fully professional women’s soccer league. I’ll be following the league from its inaugural season as clubs, players, and rivalries begin writing Canadian soccer history.

From MVP races and playoff battles to rookie standouts and record-breaking performances, the WNBA continues to reach new heights. Each edition will include the biggest headlines and the games worth adding to your calendar.

Professional women’s baseball is making a historic return. As the league develops, Rally49 will follow new teams, player announcements, league milestones, and everything shaping this exciting new chapter for the sport.

Growing up, I loved sports, but I rarely saw women athletes celebrated the way men were. There were fewer games on TV, fewer headlines, and fewer opportunities to discover the incredible talent that has always existed.

Today, women’s sports are growing faster than ever, with new leagues, larger audiences, and athletes reaching new heights. Rally49 is my small way of helping that momentum continue—by making it easier for more people to discover the teams, players, and stories that deserve the spotlight.

My hope is that whether you’re already a fan or just getting started, every edition helps you find something new to follow.
